The Lifeboat Foundation – Safeguarding Humanity

The Lifeboat Foundation has invented the nanoshield, just the thing to protect you from all the immortality and virtual sex sure to be brought on by the coming nano-invasion. Donations requested. No, they’re not kidding.

“While we won’t be funding the development of massive utility fog curtains or orbiting laser platforms in the near future, we can do something today.”

Hello my name is Ryan Kastrava I am a student and I am taking a class called Computer Information technology, its pretty much my future career in computers is what the class is about. My project i’m on right now is an informational interview. I really would like to work in nanobot technology in the medical field when I am finished with school, or eventually work my way to it. I am currently going to school for applied science, which is to get my paramedic degree. I am also in the computer network operations program.
So what the interview is, is pretty much just some questions I would like to ask you guys. Also just like the company or organization or university you are affiliated with, and your name or names (unless you want to be anonymous).

What is a typical day for you in the field of nanobot research?

What kind of background do I need to get involved in nano technology?

Is the economy effecting this field of study?

Is there a demand for nanobot technology yet?

Are there good jobs available in this field and is there a demand for them?

Is there many downfalls in working in this field? Stress, funding, laws…

What are the perks for a career in nanobot technology?

Where is the future going with Nanobots?

      Any advice for me?

Thank you very much for your help in my research project, I really appreciate it

    Nano, the Next Dimension

A fascinating film about Nanotechnology and its scientific and medical uses, produced for the European Commission. Some beautiful imagery.

New perspective at the end from the French dude: What they’re up to is just trying to catch up with what the human brain has already achieved. Matter has already managed to self-assemble and self-deploy the most powerful computer in existence, the brain.

Kurzweil: Human Immortality and Virtual Sex Only 20 Years Away, Thanks to Nanobots

“Nanobots, able to repair and preserve our organs indefinitely, are just around the corner…and if we want to go into virtual-reality mode, nanobots will shut down brain signals and take us wherever we want to go. Virtual sex will become commonplace.”

“And in our daily lives, hologram like figures will pop in our brain to explain what is happening.”

      Just what I need…
